It's so annoying, the bass sounds so simple, but I still have a hard time emulating it.

| Dont forget that theres a hefty amount of Glide or Portamento on those 303 basslines. They also have "Ties" in the notes, which are like a longer note essentially. Overlapping notes with Glide will give you a little bit of that sound.
