Hey not bad considering you've only been producing a few weeks .

The sounds are all pretty nice and well constructed. I think it could be much improved by adding more variation throughout the track, and by working on the builds and drops. It did seem to be on a bit of a constant energy level so by working on the builds and drops I think you'll greatly improve.

But still not bad and Keep at it!

Yes 3 weeks give or take a few days, I have been spending quite alot of time each day however.

Also about the energy in the track... I had a listen through again and noticed the same thing, during the build and the breaks there is not a lot of a change, Mainly because the volume of the Riff does not get high enough during the build ups, I am unsure how to boost this without causing distortion.

Ok, here are some ideas from my point of view you could experiment with.
Before the main break down the track seems a bit like its lacking direction.
What I mean by this is its sort of hard to antisipate when the breakdown is going to happen, and it kind of lacks a build up before the breakdown.

This can be improved simply by maybe adding a white noise riser (over say the 16 bars before the drop) add a low pass filter and automate from low to high until it drops. You could try as well, other FX such as hits and explodes for when entering or leaving a breakdown. Basically what I'm trying to say, is i think the track would be improved by adding some more risers and FX.

What you were saying about the riff I would'nt worry about that too much. If you feel it should be cutting through the mix more then try adding some compression (see compression tuts on the site). The riff in the breakdown may build better if you try again doing a filter sweep with it, by adding a low pass filter and automating the cut-off, and good tip to remeber is the breakdown should never be louder than the drop otherwise you're track will lack drive when it kicks back in.

Hope this helps you a little, and if you think its a load of rubbish fair enough its just my opinion lol

Hey Ben I really appreciate the time you took to write that, its seems very helpfull and I like your ideas since I can actually understand them myself
I am currently working on the track and will try implementing what you suggested.... I have also done a seperate re-structure of the track to try and give it, as you said, some direction.

Thanks again.
