I watched "The Road" a few nights ago. Couldn't believe how good it was!!! One of the best film of 2009.

I think that year will go down as being one of the best ever for sci fi. So many great film came out 2009! anyone else agree?

I'm actually one of the few that thought the road was a load of crap! I love the post apocalyptic genre but this was SOOO slow and dull. I was very dissapointed. The acting was top though. The bit with the basement was shocking though, that was pretty cool.

just because he was on a strict diet doesnt mean that those are his abs and muscles. yeah, he had to lose weight for the part and get in more shape, but it is common knowledge in hollywood that anymore, those suits have muscles built in to make the superhero look more muscular. In older movies like the Hulk, Lou Ferrigno played the hulk and hollywood had to cast bodybuilders, because the technology wasnt up to par for the times. Obviously they wanted realism. Today, any retard can play a superhero thanks to tech. Given they can act.

But I would like to see the article. Please pass it on. I think it would be an amazing read.

Ah ok cool, well I'm not denying they may put people in suits in some films as it makes sense, but for films like 300 and Batman, they went under strict exercise plans. Although in 300 they did also have a bit computer editing.

Check this out:

Read the bit titled 'Batman: 2005–present'.

Also here is the video link for you....

Watch from 6.20mins

and 300, watch from 1.40..

thats great and all, but it just says that he had to lose weight for the part. which is obvious. You cant have a superhero with a beer gut. He has to be slim and kinda look like he can kick ***. But those abs are NOT his. The suit brings out the characteristics of a superhero. Now in 300, those guys were RIPPED, no denying that. But, its also not a superhero movie either.
