Hey

I've finally decided to be brave enough to share a track.

I really like the basis of it, but want it to be less repetitive and the chord that comes in needs work. Still not sure about the impact of the mini breaks and the break and riser before the main bulk drops.

Note it stops at that point, as that is as far as I have gone with it.

Took a lot of inspiration from the tech house tutorial so yes i know its not all my own ideas, I'm more so experimenting with arrangement ideas here.

Would love any advice and thoughts?

You might try tweaking the sounds of the instruments to get a pleasant "mix" while you work on it! Also, was the "pulse" instrument Midi pattern from the tech house tutorial used in this track of yours?

Thanks, how do you mean to get a pleasant mix? I tweaked the bassline to make it evolve is that what you mean or do you mean that the elements are not sounding right together to you?

I didn't use any of the tutorial downloads I just did something similar. As I said in the OP I took a lot from that tutorial.

I feel the sound of the chords don't stand out enough. Anyway, that's my advice. Thanks for sharing your work!

oh ok, yeah the chords are bugging me. You think they need to be more prominent? maybe like you say tweak it so they are more obvious?

I'll have a play!

Thanks
