How about this for the new 'how to sound like'?

Tunes like 'Shield' and 'Physiological Rhythms'

I know that he uses Guru - step sequencer and uses groove to get that rhythmic feel to the tracks.

Would be nice to know how to make a track like this and make it sound so tough!

Thanks a lot for your reply!

I saw him at SE1 at London Bridge and he was pretty awesome!

Cheers for the links. I have actually got those tutorials. I make sure I get hold of most of the Future Music/Computer Music Mags.

Was just thinking it would be good to get a detailed break down of how to build one of those tracks from start to the finished article!

Cheers,

Matt

This should cater what you're looking for:

http://www.mercuryserver.com/forums/showthread.php?t=44690

We've had Future Music & Computer music already cover D Ramirez, Dave Spoon and Funkagenda from Toolroom Knights.

The only Toolroom Knights guy we STILL haven't had is 'ATFC' and to be honest it's annoying me because he's the one producer i've wanted a tutorial for more than anyone.

to be fair in the future music tutorial he only works his way through a remix and mostly uses the samples that he was supplied, it's not really that great to find out how he gets his sound.
