Logic Pro 9 and under with Mac OS sierra

Hi all,

I have received an email today from apple warning me of the fact that Logic Pro 9 is not supported on the new Mac OS sierra due this autumn.

I thought I would let everyone know in case any logic 9 users don’t get this email.

Personally I’m very disappointed by this.
I have 2 options now, fork out £200 for logic x or have an OS without the latest security and potentially be vulnerable.

I am hoping I am being over dramatic on the security front lol.

I thought it was a free upgrade for Logic 9 owners

Sadly not, when Logic x was released apple let users who had bought 9 a month before could upgrade to x for free.
I bought 9 3 months before so wasn’t eligible to upgrade.
They don’t even do a discount for 9 and under users.
