Modular synth for beginner

Hi everyone. Recently I got into synthesizers and finally decided to buy myself one. Before that I used Eurorack and Sylenth1. I really wanted to switch to analog equipment, but I don’t quite understand by what criteria it is better to choose a modular synthesizer. I already have a list of synths which i want to buy. Can someone tell me what to look out for?

Make sure you have a grasp of how you’d create a pad and pluck sound or use its sequencer (if it has one) before you buy it. I’d look for something that is accessible and straight forward to adjust the basic parameters of filter, envelopes, and lfos.
I got a Dave Smith - Evolver but its tedious to try and program so ended up selling it again.
