I recently finished my new song, Tropical Anthem. It’s a mix between a few different genres with a tropical vibe to it. I’d love to get some feedback!

hey, as honest feedback and i see myself suffering from the same problem so often: the song is quite mechanical / formulaic and by that it gets boring. kick goes 1, 2, 3, 4 - chord change, 1, 2, 3, 4 - chord change, … same few simple chord patterns, some passing notes and wobble before the chords change, … and we repeat the whole progression over and over again without much movement. excitement is added by adding another instrument and then let that do its thing several times. it’s so much more a stack of repeating loops than it is a song taking you on a journey from a to b. the song needs more variation, movement and fluidity. hope, it makes sense how i explained it.
