Great tutorial, its appreciated. The real world examples really make things clearer and click in place. I do not know how many times I have read theory about scale progressions and inversions in the last 6 months and whilst I have understood the maths playing a I-IV-V progression on my keyboard did not sound like any sort of music I wanted to listen to (despite the book assuring me this is 99.99% of all pop music <tongue in cheek!>). I feel I get it more now.
