At 5 minutes it’s particularly crazy! lol.
I remember few years back, back when most people were still using vinyls, being at at Tidy Weekender and my mate whipped out this Gabber vinyl and i thought it was a joke.
I still haven’t been able to get my head around the fact people out there ACTUALLY take it seriously.
It’s like Speedcore, it’s too fast to even be remotly musical lol
Don’t get me wrong, i appreciate everyone has their own taste n all that but… come on.

haha, to be fair you only need to put on Dance Nation TV or Clubland TV to hear some utter pap being played, not only been signed but had a whole music video made as well. Utter shte. haha
Each to their own i spose.
I was well into gabber and hardcore from about 95 onwards. i truly love the stuff. Though these days I’m more into hard/jumpstyle. I love the thump of good hard dance music.
Weirdly you find it hard to believe that people are into this ( and this isnt the first time you’ve mentioned it) yet I always thought the same about many of the more commercial genres of house (SHM etc). That stuff often seems so generic to me I dont get it, almost poppy.
Whilst I can see that for many gabber is too much, in my personal experience though the people into it truly and deeply loved it. You cant be into it cos its cool (cos it isnt) and you always suffer some form of ridicule or misunderstanding, so you end up constantly having to defend it.
In my experience though, no Gabber DJ I know has ever been asked to play ‘No Hablo Americano’ take from that what you will.
