Up to tutorial number 8, and have to say learnt alot thanks :)
Great course! I've picked up on so much from this, quick, precise and down to the point but with great tips and tricks along the way!
onto part 5 and i have to say this is perfect! my sorta genre as well, very well put out and described. great work, more tech/house/deep tutorials like this from other artists (mark knight, prok fitch) would be ideal!
You will be happy to know Richie is recording a new HTM as we speak!!
Awesome :)
ah brilliant stuff :)
Thanx a lot for the great course, tips& tricks and inspiration! Following along with your course I created this track https://soundcloud.com/djroen-...
No, that is not true. If you group in Ableton Live, you can put effects on the group Chanel to effect all channels with in the group. The way Dirty secret do is the old way that people used to do, before the group channel setting was available on Ableton Live. What I know the only different is visual. When you group you can hide your tracks but if you are routing you will see all tracks the whole time.
Thank you
Great tutorial. actually one of the best one I've seen here yet. Thanks
Hi, im thinking about paying for this tutorial, the Percussion track is it a loop or has it been created? Cheers Markus
Has been created from several loops chopped up
Great tutorial but would like one with a darker more undergound sound as the tech house scene is much slower now 122-124 labels like Suara, Bitten and Deeperfect, Stereo are a prime example.
Have you checked out this tut? Much dark, might be what you are looking for. http://www.sonicacademy.com/Tr...
Saw that one it sounds good its a lot closer to what I was looking for. But looking at the comments underneath there are a couple other request asking for the same tutorials as I did above, the hybrid between the tribal tech house and techno which is not quite the tutorial you suggested as thats more of a typical big room techno number, which is much more fast pasted and banging than the stuff on the labels mentioned. The techno and deep house tutorials all have a very English sound if you catch my meaning they all sound very Toolroom which of course is not a bad thing its a fantasticlabel but the more Spanish and Italian labels have a very distinct sound which is much slower and less aggressive around the 120 BPM mark. I know you cant make tutorials for every sound and sub genre but they are a massive part of the underground music scene right now and very relevant to a lot of DJs and producers, the tech house and techno charts are pilled with the Mediterranean slant on tech/techno house.
Great Stuff!!
Incredible course. So much knowledge! Love dirty secretz…
