Kick2 Not installing on MacOS Catalina

Hey new here but plan on being here for a long time! I am a monthly subscriber…

I just downloaded kick2 to use in a project. I have a mac book pro with the latest version of Catilina version 10.15.4

When I try and open the pkg file a pop up says it

“Kick 2 V1.1.4.pkg” can’t be opened because Apple cannot check it for malicious software.
This software needs to be updated. Contact the developer for more information.

I have reached out to support but I have not heard back yet… 48 hours now…

any help would be great so I can continue working on the project…

Yep, this is a known issue with Catalina & the new requirements for installer files.

Please refer to post 2 in this existing topic ( just click on the link below ), you’ll find an explanation and a link to Apple Support explaining how you can bypass this warning and install KICK 2 on your Mac.
