Great stuff
Whats she done to herself with the aul Tats though?
I like Women and I like Owls… but I’ve never been able to think of an appropriate situation to combine the 2 together LOL
Great producer & all the rest - really like her music & taste (lets forget about the owls). Respect - she’s chosen some lovely sounds in her mix.

Yeah, its a great mix. Saw her play on Saturday at some Mixmag industry party thing. Really good stuff.
Were did Owls there?
I couldn’t agree more… I’d love to see a video on Maya’s style… I personally think she’s the most influential dance artist around at the moment. br

I know she actually records a lot of her own percussion and uses a bass guitar quite often for her baselines and filters them. I’m very interested to hear how she uses reverb and delays etc. it sounds beautifully put together, so I’m with you, a video on this topic would be awesome! :Pbr
Oh, and if it’s not all that difficult to do what she does, ‘please’ explain it all in a comprehensive and sequential way… Because I’m baffled by how she achieves that kind of sound… I appreciate what’s been said about how she chooses sounds to put together… It’s mainly the nuts and bolts I’m interested in… Reverb… Delays… Filters… How she uses soft synths etc. Thank’s.
yes we need a MJC tut!!!
is this thread still going? started this 3 years ago… fairly proud… hahabr
