Heard that one the other day trawling through Beatport. Everyday, I’ve 2 Browsers open on my Laptop - Firefox (so I can get onto Beatport) & IE8 - Then checking YT to see if the track is on it. Class.
Thats a nice Track. Love the little scratchy cabassa style hats in it.
Love this ****ing Thread Guys. Getting to listen to lots & lots of new releases. Looking for tunes like this isnt something I havent done for a v.long time - since I was buying Vinyl.
Cool Stuff Guys! Keep it comin! :D

When the notes / break came @ 1.58 - I was like - WTF is happening? LOL
Super Immense heavy bass in that track Mussi.
I’d love to see a Tut on how to get that Booming Bass & choosing a Kick to go on top.
Cough… Splutter… Ahem, :Whistling: If anyone would like to shoot over to the Production Thread with some tips… That would be v.good :D

you guys should form a general consensus about maybe2-3 songs out of this entire thread you would like to have broken down for you the most(i say 2-3 because some just arent really going to be able to be done properly without the use of quite a few third part plugs, and i know you guys want something more authentic).if s.a. doesnt fill the request(understandably,i mean they have 2 techno tuts already available and probably busy with the next batch of requested tuts) i have a feeling someone else might hook it up for all of you that kind of specializes in this sort of music.

Thanks for your suggestion bobby just Pmed my partner in crime to discuss a fair way of choosing 2-5 tracks. Personally I would like to keep the thread going as I know its been an inspiraton to quite a few of us,me included/ See what everyone else says
…and to carry on heres something I found earlier

Well… Regardless of what happens, totally, Bobby is correct. We’ll have to narrow it down to a few tracks.
IMO - Fairest way would be to have 3 votes & limit the vote to the People who have contributed to the thread?
We could PM everyone & then stick up the Table with Usernames beside to keep fair?
Lots of people are probably reading this each day without contributing (totally cool by the way… )
But if you especially like or dislike something - or are interested in something in particular… then its probably a good idea to post your preference sooner rather than later.
+100 for keeping this thread going Slender. I looked through 300 pages of new releases on Beatport last night & the only cool tracks I found in that were Drugstore - I think. Was so tired by the end of it. It was interesting actually… totally mindblowing what is actually considered Techno by either the Record Label or Beatport. Desperate stuff.
Also… Its incredible how Minimal Tech has been replaced by Salsa / Inuit Peoples Tech House. Not sure if I like it. I know BP only have the snippet where it all kicks off… but Last night, if I heard one more Riser… I was going to put my head through the Laptop. A lot of it has got stale. Nothing stood out to me. need to find new ways of keeping things interesting rather than relying on massive risers & white noise. Some tracks - thats all they are! Just an observaton.
Maybe just a bad week… but I find it funny how I’ve locked on to this new Techno sound & everything else just seems a tad beige in comparison…
Ok if we wait till the end of the weekend and see if anyone else posts - then we can do a pm vote or something for people who have contributed
Yah Beatport can be a bad source - I prefer Yt these days
Cool… Sure it’ll be a snapshot of where we are so far if nothing else.
We’ll keep on posting 'til the last Embed anyway…
All good!
Bouncy

This sounds Fcking HUGE.
You can clearly hear the Bassline pattern around 2.14… with the 32nd roll.

Interesting how you dont always have to have a 4/4 dead on beat. The Guy comes from a D/step background & makes Tech influenced D/step or D/step influenced Tech. Whatever, its a little bit Garage-y. Berghain 2 Step - Just listen to it :hehe:

Nice one Chris - Thanks for your support Mate!
@ Slender - You know y’re listening to Techno when you hear the double kick & the end of a bar
Like that. Hearing that Pitch’d up Ride all over the place. Nice change from W.noise.
