Modern Techno - New Releases
slender (09/08/2010)
Can’t remember if i posted this or someone else did

Mitaka - The Black Tunnel
That’s sublime!!

Joey Beltram - Thats a cool tune.

Actually stopped listening to him around 2000 - 2002. His beats sounded really dated to me & I just gave him a wide berth to be honest.

Think someone posted a track back there - The Scorpion - & I was really impressed by it. Someone else to go bak over & see what they’ve been up to.

OT, but used to love this Luke Slater RMX of Forklift : - YouTube

Never heard of Fastgraph - Thats a relentless bit of filth.

Here’s something interesting:

Drumcode Radio - Adam Beyer’s Weekly radio show.

http://www.drumcode.se/radio.html

1st broadcast was this week.

All aboard… Slam are off to Berghain too! :slight_smile:

Slam - Maffaking - 2010

<EMBED height=385 type=application/x-shockwave-flash width=480 src=- YouTube allowfullscreen=“true” allowscriptaccess=“always”>

Tim Xavier was one of the American Techno Guys that moved to Germany.

He’s got his own Mastering & Vinyl pressing company - Manmade Mastering.

http://www.manmademastering.com/manmade_mastering_llc/studio.html

Does all the mastering for Minus, Speedy J, Bpitch etc…

This is a really good example of how you can use the one motif throughout & keep it interesting throughout. A lot of his stuff has been really abstract, but this is probably his most “tuneful” in a long time! LOL :smiley:

Tim Xavier - Urban Survival - 2010

<EMBED height=385 type=application/x-shockwave-flash width=480 src=- YouTube allowscriptaccess=“always” allowfullscreen=“true”>

Love the Slam track - also interestng link from Manmade only £37 for mastering a track - I presume thats pretty reasonable

Yeah… Seems incredibly cool Slender.

Hard part is making the track! Thats why they take it easy on you @ the Exit :smiley:

…and now for something completly similar :smiley:

Kenny Larkin - Glob - 2 Ben Klock RMX’s - 2010.

Love the Claps / Snares & the way there seems to be just the sends of hats on reverbs in the background as part of the rhythm.

<EMBED height=385 type=application/x-shockwave-flash width=480 src=- YouTube allowscriptaccess=“always” allowfullscreen=“true”>

2nd Remix is probably the most beautiful piece of Techno that I have ever heard.

Great Music.

LOL - & Now for something completly similar!

Jeez Man… The first 30sec of that was making me feel sick. Powerful stuff :hehe:

Stunning how all those Fx are constantly firing off.

Tech House… Really cool fx & fills. Some serious effort has gone into this.
