ill have a watch later wayne. whats this secrecy stuff you are referring to icn? is someone being secretive in their tutorials? is it on CM of FM or something?
It shouldn’t matter if its from CM, FM a book, the manual or somewhere else on the web or your own discovery, so long as the info is worth sharing, turn it into a video. obviously don’t go and copy someone’s video directly or copy someones text word for word (that’s just crap) but if you’ve read something and think its cool turn it into a video tutorial with your own spin on it.

don’t really need a mic, i think if something really needs explaining that much as you go a long you can always add txt to video on youtube.

You are right Jon, I love how you’ve done your videos, but the thing is I’d quite like to do something similar to Phil in his Tech Tips.
Maybe I could start off with something like what you do, no harm in giving it a go I guess! Would be nice to give a little something back to the forum every once in a while.

No, my housemate does which i’m free to use if I like though.
iMac has a built in iSight camera as well as a built in microphone. Get Screenflow for Mac as the software to do the tutorials.
Good idea in theory, but in practice it wouldn’t work because all my software is PC based lol.
I’ll just try and sort it via no mic tuts for now like what jon is doing, when i get some free time i’ll defo get on it!
You can also take your headphones and plug the 1/8th inch plug into the 1/8th inch plug for the microphone. You can then use the headphones as a makeshift microphone. Not the best sound quality, but who cares, right?
