Hi
When watching the ‘Making Justice Bass Video’ I notice you drag the ‘EBass’ preset. I tried to do the same from the jPresets folder and it says ‘Sample offline’ and nothing is drawn out at all.
Any ideas what I am doing wrong?

It should be with the materials you downloaded. Look in the tutorial folder and just double click the justpunkt.als and it will open to the project. Hope this helps. If you don’t have the tutorial folder, then you need to download it from the bottom of the list of Justice videos.

Yes I have downloaded the tutorial file ‘Justice - Dirty House - Presets and Samples’
There is a JPresets folder but no .als files are in it 
I am on a Mac…could that be why?
The presets shouldn’t be .als as those are the project files if I’m correct. The presets are for the instruments that are used in the lesson. I haven’t looked but I would say that even though they’re preset, you’ll probably still have to load the samples into the instruments themselves to get the sounds. The presets just have the settings pre-tweaked for you. I’m on a mac as well and just opened it and seem to see everything just fine. Try looking at the Jpresets folder in finder and see if you see the different presets and you’ll see what I’m talking about…

looking now, the presets are .adv and .adg files. which are the intruments.
Ahhh I see what you mean now, yes I had to use finder! 
Sorry, I was a big Logic Geek and just been using Ableton now for like a half day…I am very impressed and will definitely be purchasing the software…extremely simple ; yet powerful.

Ok so yes the instrument does work. Here is what I was wanting to say. The midi file that he uses in the example track is there a way this can be provided? I still cant seem to get comfy with zooming and drawing out the bass line. Or did he use a midi controller?

Larocca try copying and pasting the link into your browser, the link worked fine for me. If you’re a subscriber then you should have no problems viewing it.

Tried on my work pc and home pc clicking and copyn/pasting the link and it still redirects me to the main page of the forum. I am definitely a paying subscriber. I remember after I paid there seemed to be some iffy scripting errors on the site, but I am paid in full and can view all videos fine.
May this be looked into?

If you have a clip and you want to tweak it in the same column, can you change the effects that you have on that specific clip without loading another midi instrument? I would like to switch to an arpeggiator in a breakdown, but it won’t let me the way that I was thinking about doing it. :ermm:
