Here you go: http://soundcloud.com/random_task

Used a lot of stuff from the different tuts with my own twist ofc. There’s some progression in it also, my old songs don’t sound that good

A new techno tutorial would be awesome!

1 EP

11 remix releases

A barrage of releases in the next 2 months

All available on Juno and/or Beatport

I hope that comment was in jest - I mean its not as if SA is a University where one has to produce a piece of work to gain entrance
Im just interested in hearing where people are with their tracks and what stuff the might want to know about. helps get an idea of learning objectives for the course.

Cool idea Phil

I dont get it. You guys have had Minimal, Techno, Tech House etc etc, what about all the other people, do they not matter?

Both those tutorials are very far from the sound we are requesting - but i am sure we have gone over this a hundred times before Jan

Well just because it isnt the exact niche you want its still a techno tutorial, and im pretty sure Techno has been done more than any other style on this site. All im asking is what about the people that havent had 1 tutorial on a sound they like?

What gives Techno people priority, especially considering half of you arent even subscribers…

Jan DeWhinger.

Just how many house tutorials are there here

Plus as Phil had said the last techno tut was the most popular - therefore makes buisness sense to make it a priority

As for subscribing no point me subbing when the content is not to my taste as i have an expensive 11 year old that needs entertaining and feeding and banile things like that
jjdejong0 (05/11/2011)
and im pretty sure Techno has been done more than any other style on this site…
er… are you sure about that?

All im saying is, look at all the diffrent techno tutorials, or all the house tutorials and then think about the people who like the harder styles or whatever. No matter what we say or want, surely these people have the most right to a tutorial? I think Phil even said the next thing he was looking at was Hardstyle. Which tbh i think is better for business as it gives more variety.

Also it doesnt matter if its not your particular style of Techno, im pretty sure i saw all of you raving when said tutorials were released, so why start complaining now?

Also i think Phil said that about it being their most popular tutorial about a year ago, id like to know what their most popular tutorial has been up to now?

Also this isnt about me wanting House or whatever, im just trying to appeal for fairness accross the whole spectrum. I mean the trance people have had theirs, the house people have had theirs, the techno people have had more than anyone else so i just think its time for the other peoples styles.

The only thing is people need to start speaking up, im tired of running the flag for these people by myself.

Onions.

totally agree with you about fairness and would welcome a hardstyle tut. i have even said that in hardstyle threads. but to say that techno has had the most tutorials is crazy man. there are 3 full techno tutorials and one of those is minimal which isnt even techno lets be honest. i just had a quick count, the most is house music with 17 tuts. im not including the cross platforms just the tuts themselves

Ok fair enough, i guess i just notice the Techno tutorials a lot more lol…

I was just a bit annoyed with the guy who made this thread and then felt he needed to make another thread in the subscriber section with like, oh look theres a techno tutorial thread with a lot of response so we need a techno tutorial.

But its all alright,

Phil: ‘I need something with music in it’

lol…
jjdejong0 (05/11/2011)
the trance people have had theirs
and would like more

Lol i might get burnt at the stake for saying this but even i am going to say no trance as the other people especially the harder styles of dance music really deserve some more content…
