I am just beginning to wrap my head around Ableton Live as well. And it ain’t been easy! :crazy:
The Sonic Tutorials have helped me so much! If I hadn’t found this site I probably would have given up.
I usually watch and then pause the video to try everything out in Ableton as I go. A lot of the videos I know I am going to have go through more than once (and maybe many times) to understand everything, along with doing experimentation on my own.
I work on this stuff every night. And every night I feel I learned something I didn’t know before. Eventually we’ll get there.

I have been working with Live every night for 18 months and still learn something new everyday - but the trick is to remember what you learn

This guy gives Logic and Protools tuition over Skype and if you look in the picture on the link below you can see Ableton. This doesn’t mean he definitely gives Ableton training but worth checking

If you can make it to London - I know of a couple of a couple of teachers/producers who teach from their studios
I’d recommend calling up the studios and music stores in your local area and see if they know of anybody who can help - my advice is to get somebody who is starting to release tracks but has not quite made it yet (once they have broken through they’ll be too busy to teach)
Stick with it, double the amount of time you think you need to practice to get good and one day it should click in place for you
