Sonic Feature - 10 Reasons Why You Should Look At Bitwig Studio / 1481

I’ll DM you to follow up on this. This forum’s topic is dedicated to the course itself, not the right place to troubelshoot or discuss a website issue. Thank you.

Excellent course & insight. Bravo for keeping it tight. I have a question though… How can we print the MIDI generated after a series of Note FX modules into a clip?? I’ve been using a nifty & free plugin called MIDI Cap (it’s like a rolling sampler for MIDI). However, I still haven’t stumbled across any solution/method that is native to Bitwig.

So any insight would be kick ass!

Not sure what exactly you’d like to achieve and record, but generally speaking, you can record the Midi Output from 1 Instrument Track onto another using the Tracks I/O routing.

So let’s say you input Midi on Track 1 or already have a Midi Clip on this track, you can create a new Midi Track and route Track 1 Output to this 2nd Track instead of the Master and set Track 2 Input to Track 1, arm record Track 2 ( or both tracks if imputing Midi In ) and it will then record the Midi Output of your Clip/Plugin to a Midi Clip on Track 2.

The same I/O routing is available for audio.

Hope that helps !
