In fairness to Sasha, he was probably pissed. I act like a c*nt all the time when I’m pissed, doesn’t make me a bad person. Does it?
Sasha used to be a great Dj .now his DJ skill blows,.
yeah but ure a superstar dj, you have an image to uphold. Your not just some pisshed in a pub acting like a nob…

Yeah manners don’t cost nothing
If you ask me sasha could have missed out on a couple of nice tracks.
Obviously the guy is a fan and is influenced by sasha so chances are the mix is in a sashaesque style.
If I was sasha I’d have been way too curious not to listen to it. The guy mite have had a couple of monster tracks on there.
I do it all the time… Listen to all the local Dj’s mixes and go one better than them, it keeps me ahead … And that’s also why I don’t give out any mixes to people, I work way to hard refining my sets to just give away all my hard work.

Let’s look at his record…
2009 DJ Mag top 100 - Sasha #13
2010 DJ Mag top 100 - Sasha #27
Quite a drop–I’d suggest the drugs probably aren’t helping here…someone call the Betty Ford clinic stat!
How can you produce hits that touch your fans if you’re out of touch with your biggest fans?
seanl (15/04/2011)
sasha put’s me to fu*cking sleep…(i’ve thought I’ll throw that in )
but he did listen to Zabiel’s mix before…didn’t he?
Sasha and Digweed were my HEROES when I started DJing somewhat 12 years ago. They were gods to me. However, my mindset has changed over these 12 years. During this time, I’ve learned to DJ myself, produce tracks myself, I got to meet/hang with both of them for a bit and I’ve watched and monitored their careers.
I have to say, after the Twilo era (where they both left me speechless on MANY occasions) they both advanced their careers in interesting ways. To me, Digweed is super polite (always playing the politically correct card), never says a bad thing about anyone else in front of people and always tries to advance his career, sound, etc. He is an EXTREMELY hard working DJ.
Sasha, on the other hand, seems like the guy who was naturally gifted and is riding his name to the end. He’s not very professional, acts like a git and doesn’t work nearly as hard as Diggers. He puts his name (on just about every production) on projects when really he has a whole TEAM working with him. For example, Airdrawndagger, Involver and Involver 2 (and even the Xpander EP) were all done with the help of James Holden, Barry Jamison, Charlie May, Junkie XL (Tom Holkenberg), etc. etc. etc. I know Digweed has Nick Muir, but his projects seem more him. I know Sasha has guys going through Beatport daily to find tracks for him to play/remix, etc. Diggers listens to Beatport constantly for that gem that others may pass up. Sasha has his tracks warped on Beatport by his assistants, etc.
Ever since the Ableton DJ era, Sasha has bored me. Diggers keeps pounding it. Sasha may claim he’s doing more now, but I think he’s doing less. I don’t knock Ableton DJ’s, it’s what comes out of the speakers that counts.
Don’t know where I’m going with this. Oh yeah. Back to Sasha being a douche. He’s in the spotlight. Anyone (celebrity, pro athlete, etc.) who bitches about being hounded by fans, paparazzi, etc. is a douche. It’s PART of being in the spotlight. You have to learn to handle it. Especially when it comes to your fans.

You forgot to add 20 years previous being in the top 30 the majority of which were in the top ten.
But it does sound like he’s a bit of a nob. Golden rule don’t meet your Herod because they are probably not who you think they are
Yeah… King Herod used to erase the mixtapes in front of ya, laughing, back in the day.
What a cnut :hehe:
