What do you make?
roben (19/10/2010)

jon_fisher (19/10/2010)

roben (19/10/2010)
What?

No Gabber option?!
Maybe that would fit under techno :)
If you’re going to be that pedantic, pretty much most the options originated from House as they’ve all mostly spawned through the ages from that apart from dub and hiphop lol.

Point is, there is no hard dance option… or breaks for that matter lol
hard dance could in theory go under trance or house because its a b%stard child of both, i should of drum and bass under breakbeat

Can we include crack as an option? I make that too!

Not really mate House and techno originally were very different and spawned around the same time in two very different back grounds

I’ll dust the time machine off Lads & we’ll all go back in time for the weekend.

Shall we bring some Gabber & Dubstep with us?

Sounds like my kinda weekend.

A Gabber/Dubstep fusion is something I have been thinking about. No Joke. There is already Dubstyle, but thats Hardstyle sounds with Dubstep rhythm, I want Dubstep leads, with Hardstyle/Gabber beats. Ok Gabber is probably too fast, but Hardtyle should work

Cant remember the name of it now… but I used to have some class gabber tapes years ago.

Think it was DJ Producer & Hellfish.

Mixing it up is the way forward. Sure its what people do anyway without noticing normally. But I’d love to hear some Gabstep.

Tech & DS go well togeher. DS just has that 1/2 time rhythm and groove that compliments most harder stuff.

I’ve heard some chaps making DS with samples from acoustic drums - not knowing what they were up to - badly lfo’d bass too + a couple of Ninja samples. woeful.

Hard & Heavy is best. Would love that donkin Gabber bass to get all DS’ppy.

Cant remember Mate - It was all recorded onto tape… 5th Generation of recordings probably.

They were mental.

Hellfish was quite slow in comparison i think hahaha

Quality. Death-row techno is from my home town Bristol.

Used to go down there all the time, proper mental. Used to know Producer and all the others reasonably well in the rave days when I worked for Eternity magazine.

Scorpio, Ribbz, HMS, Clarkee and all them. That was my vibe.

@BTDJ - Cool! :slight_smile:

there’s no option for “a pile of steaming turd” which is what i’ve been producing lately lol…
