I think we all went through that phase. I couldn’t agree with you more. However, I think when it comes to effects, it never hurts to add to your palate. For instance, different compressors, have different sounds and do certain things better then others. The perfect example is Ratshack Reverb. Its super weird, but it does a specific sounding reverb VERY well, but then it sucks at all others…

Seriously dude, effects is where its at. You can get soundtoys bundle and im telling you dood, complete analog sound. You can take a cold sound and warm it up in an instant.

I bought it after you recommended them to us before and just love it - though I nearly blew my eardrums away when I was experimenting mentally with it

But whats good about them? Is it the Sound? or are there some really cool Tweaks etc… ?
Is that the bundle thats about $500? Steep - just wondering what they’ve got thats unique or different?
Is there a particular plug thats excellent? What sorta stuff you you use them on / for?

Both and the sound is absolutely ***** AMAZING!!! They have different emulations. Analog, tape, yada yada.

Well Echoboy is the best delay i have ever used. there is so much. did i mention the sound? You can also drive the imput and output to make it distort, kinda like…Analog…
The filter is the best sounding filter i have ever heard. period.

Funny you say that as I just been playing with a reverse vocal sample put the decapitator and filter freak 1 on it and its inspired me for a whole track - so yeah definatly worth it
