if you have any suggestions let me know … I keep hearing how analog synthesizers sound extremely warm. Also Buying an analog synthesizer , I will get into programming sounds more often .
I must admit I am not a fan of Morpho - it sounded a little tinny to my ears
I would reccomend the Moog Slim Phatty at around that price

But thats just me - hope you enjoy your purchases as much as I will at the end of this month

Thanks that looks very slick and confusing … This Analog Synth will produce anything I throw at it for years to come ?
INTRODUCING THE SLIM PHATTY - YouTube
Almost forgot if I buy this Analog I will need to buy a hardware compressor and EQ right ? Plugging this synth into my M audio audio interface would be a bad idea ?
If your going to spend that kinda money I would try them out in a shop first if possible YT vids and such are never that good to see if its your kinds thing
Hey Salvo,
Correct me if I’m wrong, but aren’t you just starting out?
I’m just asking because I would hate to see another newbie spend a boat load of money on things that they don’t need.
What’s in your possession of at the moment? I’m just making sure that you have the necessaries before you put out money like this.
A nice audio interface, monitors, cheap midi controller, software plugins, and DAW are all you really need to get started. I would learn these things first before making bigger purchases. When you get these under control you will have an idea of which direction you want to go.
For instance, I know you just picked up Massive. That thing is a beast and can take a little while to master.
If I’m off target I apologize, but I just don’t want to see someone throw money out the window.

Well be playing piano for 15 years Drums 3 never really got into making songs until a few years ago and as for synths just started using them a few months ago . I just want the best sound and to have some hardware it will make music creation interesting beyond just using Digital vsts .
I came from playing an acoustic grand piano and never got into making full tracks or using digital software like Cubase or Live so I would just jam out for 2 hours on the piano and come up with cool riffs . I know its a bit odd 15 years of playing the piano I never consider making my own music . :hehe:
