I had some fun, testing people on their patriotism today with questions like:
So why do we celebrate Independence day on the 4th when the actual approval for independence was on the 2nd?
and things like, did you know that Washington was a commander for the British Army before the US and helped William Pitt win control of the city that we now call Pittsburgh?
Amazing how many of us walk around calling ourselves patriots, but really have no idea how this country was truely formed.

Well lets face it a lot of Americans don’t even know where their capital is - and I thought our education system was bad

Seen my first 4th july celebration last night on the TV in our dorms, was live from NYC the fireworks display was amazing! You yanks certainly know how to do things to extreme! Incredible
