Hello. Just purchased and installed A.N.A. It’s only showing up in my AU folder. I only installed the 64 bit version. All permissions are set to read Write…what’s next
It will only work if you have 64bit ableton installed you need to install 32bit mate
I’m on Live 9.1.1 64 bit. Os 10.9
I’ve managed to install the 64bit VST version of A.N.A. using Jbridge but I want to limit use of Jbridge to Sylenth. I shouldn’t need a Aux Host to bridge a 64 bit plug-in to a 64 Bit DAW…
Is the 64bit version in your plugin folder? br
br
It did it not install? You defo ran the seperate installer and have ableton directed to the correct plugin folder?
Yes it is in my plug-in folder. I’ve tried rescaning the plug-in folder by de-selecting and reselcting the use vst folder in Ableton prefs. I’ve also tried the clear Live blacklist trick(holding alt and pressing rescan in prefs). I’ve tried with the 64 bit installer included in the purchase download, I’ve tried with the standard installer that comes with the download, I’ve even tried http://s3.amazonaws.com/SonicXtra/Product/Upload/SonicAcademyA.N.Ax64_v1.50_compabilitybuild.pkg.zip which i found in the forum…I can’t get Ableton to recognize the vst on it’s own??? It feels like I overlooked something simple?
ANy idea what might cause ableton not to see it?. WHat should I try next? What would be the best way to reset the whole process…
It’s probably a JBridge thing or a Mavericks thing. I will try uninstalling Jbridge. Installing ANA and see if that works…

For anybody who owns Sylenth or any other 32 bit plug-ins and are using JBridge to run them in ABleton Live 9 64 Bit and who might have some of the same issues with installing A.N.A. as the ones described above; Here are the steps i took to solve them…br
br
1-Uninstall JBridge; Find folders in your user library aswell as the one in the Application folder and delete them.br
br
2-Go to your plug-ins folder(hd/library/audio/plug-ins…) and delete any versions of A.N.A that you have installed.br
br
3-Install Sonic Academey A.N.A. 64 bit version.br
br
4-Open Live, Authorize A.N.A. if you haven’t already, go to preferences/file folders, hold alt and hit rescan.br
br
5-Reinstall JBridge and Bridge 32 bit plugs.br
br
*Avoid messing with permissions of your library sub folders.br
thx. this worked for me.
