A City in Florida-Deadmau5

Hey guys,

I’m trying to create the moog sound in this track, and I’m having difficulties on doing so if anyone can shed some light that will be fantastic!

It’s like the bassline has a stutter effect with and LFO, not sure

thanks!

I think that high pitched sound is a HP filtered sound with a ringmod and perhaps some unique tweakings in between.

I am more interested in the bassline sounds. Any luck with that?

I’ve created a bassline sound using Logic’s ES2 I’ve used all 3 Oscilators messing around with 2 saw and one sine wave. I’ve got some EQ slight boost 250 300 bit crusher and reverb

Still doesn’t sound like it but it’s a start

you should try something other than Logic’s ES2.

Mainly the part that says

“I can think in terms of arrangements because I’m a DJ, whereas Benno is a sound guy, he can think in sounds. The guy’s crazy: if he hears a particular sound in a record that I really like, he knows how to make that sound. Let me tell you something: ES2 in Logic can make almost any sound you want. Maybe there’s a few analogue things it can’t do, but you can always emulate those in other ways. Benno has proved to me that you can make 95 percent of any synth sound you want with ES2…”

Sorry a little off topic, but had to throw it in there. Interesting read non the less.
