This my first post in here. I recently signed up for sonic academy and im very pleased so far. I have a question though, the mainly reason i signed up was for the “how to remix” with Ableton live.br

Though, in this vid, the producer have all the samples that he needs for that song. Im working on a remix where i only have the “raw” audio file(Imported the whole song)br

Im new to remixing and i dont quite understand the process yet. When people do remixes do they find these sample packs used in the certain song or? How should my approach be, in my case.br

Most remixes are commissioned so you will get sent the full parts… if you are just using the main track its considered more a mash-up/rework than a remix.br

you can get full parts from remix competitions… there are tons all the time just do a quick search on google and you should be landed.
