Hi mate just had a listen to your sample and it sounds like it’s got the makings of something good.

It’s all sounding a bit basic at the moment, if it was me I’d try adding more percussion to create a groove and think about risers, white noise etc to give it a bit more life!

hey thanx for you feed back i always get this far and get stuck lol

thanx again for replying

Hey no worries dude this is what its all about, giving each other feedback so we can learn and hopefully make better tracks in the process! :w00t:

Sounds really nice man 3 ideas i thought id share would be maybe to bring in a funky bass line at the 1 min mark just add another layer and also in places maybe add a high hat on the off beat just to give the drums a bit more depth and drive doesn’t have to be to loud just something for the ear to hear, and maybe some ping pong delay in there somewhere could go nicely not sure where but there’s my 2 cents :stuck_out_tongue: but good job

I’ll be very honest. It’s way too generic.

You should change note arrangement and add a LOT of extra stuff.

You don’t want after you’ve found a good 16 bar clip just to repeat it on and again and just automate a little . No!

You couldn’t keep my attention span through the whole track even though it’s only 2 min.

Now read the stuff above again and try to improve each of them.

Cheers!

Yeah it’s a bit basic. Seems like the main riff is a single bar repeated over and over. Try changing the note lengths or maybe add a note here and there for some variation. Also, it sounds like it might be clipping just a tad so you may need to turn down your master volume a hair.
