Ableton DJ MIx

SO I’m working on a mix in ableton and every time i go back and change something to a transition or wanna add a song somewhere in the middle every other transition comes out of sync. How can I get the hole mix to move as one so that when i wanna change song two for example, the rest of the mix doesn’t come out?

you need to warp all your track to the same BPM as the dj project in ableton.

if all your tracks are warped correctly, they never come out of sync.

thanks for the help, i figured it out… but didnt use your method :w00t:

Interested in what you did

yah so am I… last time i checked u had to warp your tracks. love 2 hear how u did it otherwise.

Fairly straight-forward actually, surprised I didn’t think of it earlier. So, say your working on 10 song DJ mix, and you wanna change the 3rd track for example. Delete the old song, import the new one, warp (I was using ‘warp from here straight’), lineup the first beat or wherever you want the transition to begin from on the 3rd track and drag it to wherever the outro for the 2nd tracks begins.

Now, instead of dragging the 4th track into place by itself, first highlight the entire mix from the 4th track onward. Than, drag the 4th track (and subsequently the other 6) in and begin setting up the transition from the 3rd to the 4th track. That’s all I did and it saved me a butt load of time from having to zoom in to every transition and realign the tracks so they were beat-matched again
