me again. i have a question regarding dj’ing in ableton. if i set up my tracks so the are all mixed and then want to export the final set for a radio show this is all fine if i want a consant bpm. however i dont want a constant bpm i want to start the set off slower and speed up but the global bpm doesnt seem to be automatable (not sure if thats a word)
any ideas?

I can only assume if you wish to do that you will need to run another piece of software to record the sound as you are playing it like Soundforge.
If you look at the top left of the screen where it will tell you the BPM it should just be a case of changing that value as you go along.
you can automate the master tempo in an arrangement.
go into arrange mode… twirl down the track settings.
select mixer in the first box
and song temp in the second box.
now you can set start and end tempos for your arrangements.
