when you apply a groove normal the groove effects the clip but still gives you some parameters to change… i.e amount of swing etc.
when you apply it it moves the actual midi to the groove notes and turns the groove “effect” off.

yeah thats how it works… when you drag the groove on its still effecting it but it hasnt “printed” to the midi yet. The Groove is still being applied.
