im also tempted by this upgrade to live 8 suite and then free upgrade to 9 suite, i mean the upgrade from 8-9 is gonna cost 129 euros, seems a bargain to get the full upgrade to 9 for only an extra 50 bucks…
Anyone else excited about the singing melodies and them being converted to midi? I have so many melodies in my head its insane but i sit at the keyboard and nothing, this could be the future 
so so so many good features that Live has been crying out for along with ones I didn’t expect - like the convert harmony and melody to midi. Want this! 
this is absolutly beyond exiting. new curved automation, harmony into midi. WOW what else! the new eq 8 looks great and so does the compressor.
good to see something you spend so many hours working on is getting such a great upgrade :D

I dont think its cheating, i it will innovate a lot more quality music as theres a lot of people with the best ideas in their head with no way of making it a reality because they never learnt music theory or the piano etc.
The only other thing i want is export to mp3… but thats just for convenience really…

This, I can convert what in my head but it takes time… and sometime I forget whilst trying to get the key or whatever… this is a excellent idea, can;t wait to try it out!
I bought Suite 8 the other day to include the free upgrade to 9 when it comes out, can’t wait!!
Last weekend it cost 179 euros to upgrade from standard live 8 to suite 8. Now its gonna cost you 254 euros for that upgrade, anyone have any ideas why they did this are they just gonna keep dropping the discount as live 9 gets closer? Im just glad i wasnt undecisive and boaght the upgrade last saturday but even still its gonna cost you 129 euros to upgrade standard 8 to 9, i think for all the extras you get with suite 120 euros extra seems like an ok deal. Obviously the 50 euro upgrade from last weekend was insane and i hope everyone managd to take advantag of it.

They expect it to be out in the first quarter of 2013, there isn’t any exact date yet
