i’m a newbie. i’d love to hear what you all think from Mac/PC users with Ableton. I’m deciding which computer to go with, even though I’m a PC user.
But the fact that there are much bigger range of VSTS and free for Windows… than Mac. Can I get some feedback from u guys? Thanks much!
Use the search utility on the forum mate - not being arsey but this discussion has been covered endless times and you will never get a definitive answer as Mac people and PC people will always say they think theirs are the best
You also would need to clarify what your budget is as if limited you may have to go the PC route
As to which DAw - I would say try out the demos first and see which one suits you - only problem is Logic does not have a demo as far as i know - I could be wrong as PC’s rule - LOL

Well, besides budgets and trying out diff. demos too… (good idea)
but i meant for each computer… what is BETTER. but i found a better link off of ableton’s forum. they had each person test their comp’s/laptops out and gave diff. results. i thought this was helpful too!
