Ableton "Playing LIVE series"

I would like to request a Ableton “Playing LIVE series” tutorials.



My DJ/Producer friend and I want to start playing live together.

We have 20 tracks of our own stuff. I am but really interested

how we can set it up as a live setup.



Setting up clips/Structure



Live instruments. Drums, Bass, etc



Adding VSTs. Reaktor ens, The Mouth



Adding real instruments. Vocal, Guitar.



Jamming on fly. Sparking a new idea for a track



Controllers e.g iPad Grid, Midi Controllers



Working with two Laptops.



Mixer options. How many channels?



Adding Audio visuals.



Live checklist, before the gig.



I hope this sparks some interest and you wonderful Sonic wizards can produce this series.

I have a launchpad and lpd-8, but right now they seem sort of like glorified play buttons. I’d love to see how to really access their potential.

Would also like to add, to that “live checklist” thing, what we should take even if we’re just djing at a club with our laptops and a controller or two. I’ve never had the opportunity but I’d like to know what sort of things to bring in terms of hooking up to the sound system, how to configure ableton, or traktor, etc etc.
