I’m a fairly advanced producer and used FL for years. I switched to Ableton a couple months ago, and I’m loving it. Not only did it takes less than a week to learn, I can do so many things much faster in Ableton like automations or copying vsts that were tedious in FL. In theory FL is more flexible, but I can do everything (and more) in Ableton in far less time and with less headache. I hope FL will continue to work on the workflow, because it’s a great DAW, but Ableton has won me over.
