however I am not having the best of luck…
and help would be greatly appreciated as i cant seem to get that real bouncy groove going.

It’s alot easier than you think ! I was trying to create it for ages… Do you need help with the bassline aswell? I usually use sylenth1 for my basslines and also random bass notes that I find in sample packs.
I just finished a minimal remix, SoundCloud - Hear the world’s sounds … I can send you some samples if you like that bass note!

i understand where the bassline needs to lie ( offbeat ) however the trouble im having is that bouncy sound like yours exhibits…tbh im not really even sure where to begin to create a synth patch with such bounce as im quite new to synthesis…
if you could just briefly get me started im sure i could make do… and yes i would love those samples

All good mate, it’s what forums are for! I’m still getting my head around synthesis aswell haha but there are a few tutorials around the net which can help you out! I usually just fiddle around with the knobs in sylenth1 until I get the sound that I want!
I’ll set up a sample pack as soon as I have time! What synthesizer are you using?
