Advanced Synthesis

Hello. I would like to request some more in depth synth programming tutorials. My synth of choice for this would be Native Instruments Massive. I notice you use sylenth 1 a lot which is a good synth as well. If you do an advanced sylenth tut could you please explain the Misc1 and Misc2 sections and how they relate to the env and lfo? See post below this one with the “Crazy Whipping Sound” in the song kim jong thrill. I would like to learn how to create psychedelic sounds for psy / progressive type house.

Thanks!

maybe now is the time for sonic to starting looking at this synth, there seem to be requests about massive almost on a weekly basis now

Personally I would like to see some using Operator as I have been playing around with that quite alot

+1 for massive

agree with massive… why not!

Good to hear that other people are requesting this synth as well. I have played around with it a lot and it is Über Powerful but there is a bit of a learning curve involved.

sylenth synth programming would be great info!

theres loads of sylenth programming vids on here

Operator is an amazing synth. Its powerful and it can be used as a subtractive synth too…not just a FM synth. Really easy too once you understand the layout.

ni massive is a very good synth, especially for big dubstep / dnb basslines. also very good for industrial style perc licks / riffs.

+1 for some massive tutorials

Yea massive tutorials would be good, althouhg i can use it, i would like to dive further into what it can do.
