Advice about controllers for Ableton Live?

Hi there.

I just bought Ableton Live, and want to get started producing electronic music. Mostly Tech house, Techno.
I would like more control over the funktions in Ableton so I dont have to use my computer keyboard which I find a bit awkward.

Im really in need of some advice, of what controller to go for as a controller for Ableton live. Should I begin with a controller just with pads, faders and knobs, og should I go for a midi keyboard with faders, knobs, pads and keys?
I have the opportunity to buy a M- Audio Axiom pro49 for a really good price, and thought of that as a good idea because of the hypercontrol for Live.

But on the other hand im a total rookie with ableton live, and dont know if there is another controller, that will be a better choise to begin with, when producing Tech House.??

I really hope that some of you can give me some advice quickly, as my contact for the Axiom pro will need an answer if im going to buy, within 2 days from now:-)

i use launchpad ,mostly for creating some melody and beats, (have midi keyboard but i never use it) and APC 40 för a mixing when i just want to experiment with effect and volume, ofc you can use it in dosens ways but its how i work
