My first attempt at a dubstep tune, it’s pretty weak compared to the tune used in the tutorial but I would appreciate comments on how I can improve it and make it more professional sounding. Cheers
Good first attempt fella, if I were to suggest improvements, I’d bring the lower bass element in almost instantly, it’s what the genre is about, maybe sync it to one of your drum elements to create a really strong vibe. Then maybe put in a few drops and additional drum fills and you’ll be there.
cheers for the feedback - really appreciated. I started amending the track last night to bring the bass elements in to the track sooner. I’m also going to look at creating variations to the wobble at the end of each bar and introduce more drops. Will post the results in the next couple of days
