As part of Flashovers recent pop up shop the parts for panache we made available as a free download. i think the original is around 128-130bpm ive kicked it up to 138. wanted to do a hands in the air breakdown and also start off with an intro style instead of 16 bars of drum loops.

I’ve listened to a few of your tracks that you’ve posted up on here, they’re certainly getting better each time. The main problem is the clarity of the mixing, when the main lead is playing in this it’s masking the rest of the tune, I think you need to concentrate on your use of EQ more and make sure the timbres of the sounds you’re trying to fit together are different enough to give them their own space and cut through.br

The other thing I notice is your tracks are always ‘a work in progress’ do you never finish stuff off?

Cheers for the feedback. to be honest i take bursts of work making the structure and main parts of the tracks and i could finish most of the tracks off but i know i still lack the skills/technique to get the sounds to the next level that i want so more learning to do for me!! thanks for commenting on my sounds evolving and at least heading in the right direction.

I know it feels like a bit of a pointless exercise if you’re not feeling the track, but it’s really good practice to finish everything you start, you never know how it will evolve!
