Je suis très déçu ! les sons des démo ne sont pas dans les presets :
demo 1 : 0:44 son ?
demo 2: 0:05 son ? 0:35 plucks (arp) ?
demo 3 : 0:00 plucks (arp) ?
demo 4 : son ?

je n’achèterai plus ici !

All sounds are from the pack s 100%

Hi there @coudert

We’ve checked the projects for those demo tracks and all sound used are 100% from the Icarus presets pack.

Please make sure that you are not filtering the presets search results inside ANA 2 Presets Browser ( this is a common mistake ) : make sure that the first columns from the left are set to ALL and just select the Icarus bank in order to be presented with all presets included in this pack. If you filter search results using search tags in the left columns, you’ll be presented with only the presets that are matching your search tags.

Hope this helps !

@coudert

Keep in mind that it’s not obvious to isolate each preset just by ear when listening to any demo tracks, some presets can also be layered.

Here’s some presets names used after checking the project :

Demo 1 - 0:44 → Precision (Lead)

Demo 2 - 0:05 → Round (Bass) and 0:35 → Sphere ( Plucks-using ARP)

Demo 3 → Persist (Plucks) + Encounter ( Lead) layered together.

So here you go, again, all presets used in those demo tracks are from the Icarus pack :+1:

Hope that helps clarifying this !

Cheers :sunglasses:

Hello, and thank you for replying. I’m used to using ANA, I’ve actually bought several presets from you that work really well! I wanted Icarus mainly for the “precision” lead, which you hear a little bit in demo 1 but a lot at the beginning of demo 2. I find it superb, but on my ANA, it doesn’t sound the same at all. Yes, the sound is the same, but there isn’t that cutting frequency that slows down and speeds up. I wanted the same sound.

As for the “persist” pluck, it doesn’t go up or down! For me, the note stays the same, whereas on demo 3, it varies the notes as it goes up and down. I thought I’d get the same one.

Sorry to bother you.

@coudert

The difference between how the “raw” presets are soudning and what you can hear in the demo are likely due to some ANA 2 parameters being automated in the project, like frequency cutoff or using ANA 2 GENV and LFOs.

I do not have direct access to the demo projects myself, so hard to tell you what exactly was done to get those results.

From what I can see for the “Precision” Lead preset, it’s using GENV and LFO and the GENV is set to LOOP and RETRIG, you’ll get different results if you turn those parameters off.

For the Persist pluck preset, it could be the ARP settings, but again not sure what was done in terms of modulation or automation inside ANA 2 with this preset since I do not have the project.

Just keep in mind that the demos tracks often showcase interesting results you can get with presets when using ANA 2 onboard modulation and fx rather than just playing the raw or dry preset, but again it’s the same presets being used.

EDIT : Also, have you watched the video walkthrough from Magnus ??
