Sonic Academy presents this all-new high-quality preset pack for the mighty ANA 2.
ANA 2 Presets Vol 10 - Bass House contains over 100 superior arena-filling presets to take your productions to the next level. This melting pot genre is so broad it’s almost impossible to define what it is. It takes its cues from bass-heavy music from around the globe. In the UK it’s a deep darker, affair from the likes of UKF. Mainland Europe is more aligned with the electro sounds of Oliver Heldens and the US has a much heavier, full-frontal aesthetic and these presets have you covered.
Mostly they sound pretty good, but a quarter of the presets are not usable for step sequencing or chords because they are one note ARPs & SEQs.
I’m wondering how you’re trying to use those presets. Simply disable the ARP & the CMD feature if you’d like to use another step sequencer or play the chords yourself with those presets.
Turning off the CMD is pretty easy and helps. Turning off the ARP also helps, but is a pain because you have to do it on every single preset—you have to exit the preset menu, open the arp menu, hit save, and return to the preset menu. Which make auditioning them a chore.
As mentioned in another reply already, take advantage of the “PRESET LOCK” feature inside ANA 2 which also seem to be a function that you missed. This is the easiest way to browse through presets and either keep using no ARP or CMD or one you like and would like to try while browsing through other presets.
