If you close the filter really fast there is a lag. I only ried it on the 64bit version, could be on the 32bit also.
e.g.Deep Saw Pad
Open filter 100% then close it with mouse. The sound will fade out.
ANA 64bit, Cubase 64bit.

Yeah, you’re right. Seeing the same in the PC 32-bit version under Ableton.
Interestingly enough, if you modulate filter cutoff 1/2 with an LFO, it reacts immediately as expected.
Perhaps a UI issue? The further I turn the knob, the longer it takes to close the filter. Just a guess, but maybe all the “notches” in the knob are being queued up when you turn it, or the positions are being tweened over time?

this was put in by design - if you map or automate it is will not act this way, but i will suggest it as an update to be removed
i quite like the effect of the filter closing slower
