OK guys, I d/led the demo, ran the installer, went to “My Account-synths” for the license and there’s nothing there. I opened FL9, it said “Demo expired” then gave a. “external exception C000001D” message and crashed FL til I used ctrl+alt+delete. Say wha?:w00t:
Did you have any other versions installed previously?
no mate, been waiting to try the demo out. Now I can’t seem to uninstall it either. There’s an empty folder in Windows “My Docs” and it’s not showing up in “Add/Remove programmes” or with an uninstall option in “Prog files-vstplugins” where I installed it. Scheisse.
PS I’m running WinXP and installed 32-bit. -not a techie in ase you haven’t noticed! 
Excuse me, I am ANA SYNTH owner 1.1, how can I download v.1.2? If I go to my account seems I have to buy it again?! Thanks in advice and sorry for the probably stupid question.

Hello Bryan, iv just downloaded the V1.02 zip file to update from 1.1 but there is no .pkg file in any of the folders for the 32bit MAC?? any ideas?
The 32bit installer is just called “Sonic Academy ANA 1.02.pkg”
Its in the root of the mac installer folder.
Fair enough if you haven’t an answer lads but could you at least let me know? I’d like to uninstall it do you know where I can find the uninstall at least?

Sorry! Just remove ana.dll from your plugins folder.
You mentioned that the Sonic Academy folder was empty?
Sounds like it didn’t install properly.
Where was this folder?

there was a Sonic Academy folder (empty) in My Documents and the licence didn’t go to “My Account-D/loads” either. I’ll have another dig at it.
Yeah that is from the 1.01 version… we changed the folder location to C:/Program Data/Sonic Academy. to help with registration.

Yeah try reinstalling it. are you logged in to your computer as the main (admin) user?
OK mate, just reinstalled it. The exact same problem. No activation licence (not sure I need this anyway for a demo). Load it into FL9, dialogue “Your demo has expired” then when I hit OK, new box with “External exception” yadda yadda yadda…and the empty sonic academy folder is in My Docs again and no sign of it in Prog Data. Mmmm…

Ok so I found the ANA folder eventually here:C:\Documents and Settings\All Users\Application Data\Sonic Academy. All the preset data etc seems to be present so what I seem to be missing is some kind of activation/authorization. Also. I installed it to my VST plugins folder but this data is in a totally different folder/location. If I copied all this data into the VST plugins folder will that mibbe make a difference?
