ANA2 presets not where expected on MacBook Pro

I am trying to import a preset made on one computer onto another. So I looked for the presets folder on my MacBook in Library>Application Support>Sonic Academy>Ana2 but there is only one file in there, called SETTINGS. No preset folder.

Where else on my machine might they be? I used Slate Digital Connect to install Ana 2.

Seems you are checking your User Library instead of the main system Library.

On a Mac, User Presets are located in :

Macintosh HD/Library/Application Support/Sonic Academy/ANA 2/Presets/Sound Presets/User/

But you can actually reveal your User Presets folder from ANA 2 pull down Menu.

Hope this helps !

Cheers :sunglasses:

Thanks for the response.

If i follow that file path i dont see a presets folder.

Im aware i can access presets from the instrument, but how do i import a preset i have made on one computer (windows pc) to another (macbook pro)

Not real need to browse through folders, keep it simple :

Simply copy your .SndPr file ( that’s the preset extension ) from your PC onto your Mac and use the Load Preset option from ANA 2 menu to load the preset, you can then save the preset using “Save as” and it will be save into your User Presets on your Mac :+1:
