Angger Dimas Drums

What is the pattern and elements that Angger Dimas uses in this track for the drums @ 2:00?

The shedding of some wisdom on this would be greatly appreciated. Thx!

Awesome. Thx Phil and Aline for the quick response!

Yeah Phil pretty much summed it up there, alot of dirty dutch is based on what is known as a ‘dem bow’ rythemn. Listen to some Don Omar, Daddy Yankee reggaeton as its pretty much the same drum loops just slowed down. Also Angger Dimas spends alot of time on his snare its always really punchy and snappy and ive even heard his tracks where he doesnt have a kick, just the dutch lead over a snare and some toms…

interesting, could you post a link with an example of the snare/toms without the kick. Also, is the ‘snappy, punchy’ snare achieved just by compression or is there more to it?

Err I cant remember which track it is just type anger dimass into youtube and listen to em all. Also getting your snare to sound snappy is a combination of getting a good sample, compression and carefull eq.
