For such a surgical plugin, time and frequency are two bits of info that are vital for creating kicks that groove and sound well within a track. Trying to match up or gauge the time of envelops from the “Pitch” and “Amp” in its current state is far from elegant. br
br - “EQ Freq” and “EQ Gain” Knobs need to display the frequency and gain that are being adjusted. This is a huge oversight and should be the simplest feature to implement. br
br - Large dB meter on far right side of plugin. I believe this to be important for many reasons. For one, not clipping the built in limiter and to know exact db’s your pushing. Helps in proper gain staging… br
br - Master Volume knob. It’s a workflow killer when trying to lower or raise the volume of both “Click” and “Sub” at same time without having to shoot over to your DAW volume fader. Especially in Ableton Live when you have Kick nested in a Drumrack and even more so when nested within a “Group Track” thats layered with other elements. br
br - Put a spectrum analyzer in the Envelop windows. (This would probably take a bit more work.) But it would be great for seeing how much frequency your kick drum is taking up and how much your kick drum might be sweeping in frequency. br

I believe all of these should be quite simple to implement. Except for #5, but it’s not impossible by any means. br

With all that said, these are all things that can be addressed within your DAW, but it would make this plugin far more easy to use and enhance workflow tremendously! Who knows, maybe it would sell more also? But if not these features added to version 1, maybe add them in version 2, (if there’s plans) along with adding separate 3 band Parametric eq (with db and frequency display) on both Sub and Click sections with HP/LP/BP/Notch and or separate outputs of both sections.

How about an auto-gain option? As producers have become more aware of the loudness war, an automatic matchup gain would be helpful to prevent misuding parameters such as drive and distortion. It would automatically recalculate the output gain whenever a parameter has been changed, and adjust it to match the previous RMS value (or whatever algorithm is suitable for comparing loudness between kick drums). br

I like your suggestions. Agreed, the fifth one would probably take a fair amount of rescources, and in my opinion would be worth a higher price tag. Maybe start with the easiest and move on up from there.
Nice suggestions. I would also like to see updates with the following: br

1.) An undo function! Countless times have I tweaked the kick accidentally and annoyingly feel like it’s not as good as before. Also the double click node function seems to be a bit temperamental when adding nodes onto the pitch envelope. i.e. they suddenly disappear when you begin to move them around. br

2.) We have the ability to add a Click for the start of the kick, but would be nice to see some kind of noise generator or sample bank + envelope that affects the tail / release of the kick. The sub takes care of the length but sometimes when you hear other producers kicks, there’s always some other elements / harmonics in the kick too apart from just the click and sub. br

3.) An FX section for the click sample. This could assist with creating 2.) if a noise generator / additional sampler wasn’t an option. br
br
I also would like to see a more in depth tutorial on the pitch envelope, specifically for creating different tones using multiple nodes, curves, adjusting the lengths between nodes and the master pitch and length sliders. Perhaps the frequency graph suggested by Squirrel Chucker would visually assist with this. br

Otherwise, good work. Love the synth after only a few days of mucking about.
