I just saw that the new tutorials will be hard dance I was just wondering if anyone knew which producers it was being based on? Me and Alex Kidd went to the same college for learning about EDM production in Manchester and he is awesome! I don’t know what it is with hard dance but tbh even though sometimes it’s all happy cheesy goodness I don’t think there is any other style of dance music where you can let loose as much as you can with this stuff it’s insane lol! No spoilers Phil?
I cant wait either… I bought the how to make tech trance and am still working through it, but decided that the tutorial was so good i was going to subscribe, so i did last night. And now i am glad since i just logged on and saw that theres going to be a hard dance tutorial… Quality
With them calling it hard dance I take it it’s going to be more Organ Donors, Scott Attrill sounding.
Synthesis next week or week after, now thats what I am looking forward to!
I used to work with a guy in Holland making hard style and there’s just something about making harder styles as it’s just so much fun! With house and trance it’s too much tinkering and processing and over processing ****. With harder styles everything is game and they have some pretty strict rules that all the tracks stick too. I’m more looking forward to SA’s mixdown tutorial. Synthesis I feel is all about just turning buttons and hearing what it does to a sound an then tweaking presets. I feel this is the best way to learn and I know alot of he pros do this. But mixing down that takes real skill and years of experience, it’s an art in itself.
Pill poppin hard dance! lol! Haven’t listened to it for a long time but did about 6/7 years ago. Will give this one a go looking forward to the trance one more however

I put many hours in upstairs at the Sanctuary/Technodrom back in the day. Can’t wait for this one, only hope it’s proper hard and not too ‘Hixxy’.
I thought hard dance was stuff like alexx Kidd, Andy whitbey, Lisa lashes etc?
Alex Kidd ive found to be more hardtrance/hardstyle,i guess the princeables of hard dance are along the lines which is what im intersted in
