Youtube has a sonic sniffer dog? I uploaded onto youtube a 6 minute montage of old tracks… block party style edits…
Once it had finished uploading i was told it featured a track by sony music… and then an itunes link was created so that people could buy the track… even though it only featured for about 30 seconds in the video.
How clever is that? It’s a good thing of course for the original artists… i had no idea youtube are ‘listening’ to what exists within a multiple tune soundtrack being uploaded…
Yeah… its probably the same Technology as Itunes uses to get name of album w.waveforms etc…
Happened to me too…
Wnakers.
I run a anime channel for another forum and I would say half my uploads are rejected
Lets Mix Website uses the same technology.
When you upload you mix, it asks you to input your tracklisting and if you ever it correctly, the listener can then click the link to purchase the track - pretty cool function actually
